I think I have a cold. I just got over COVID! But I’m sneezing a ton with a runny nose and just a general feeling of feeling unwell. We’re waiting to get an MRI on her brain to see why she’s not waking up from her coma. She should have woken up days ago after the doctors stopped a bunch of her medication. They’re saying there’s basically no hope of recover or any meaningful quality of life. My brother is in denial about everything and he’s clear down in Houston and just isn’t wanting to accept that she’s basically gone and just a shell of a person. Her body is there but she’s not. She’s still unresponsive and not moving. My brother is holding out hope that maybe she’ll wake up and get better but several doctors have told me, it’s highly unlikely. I’m still hoping for a miracle but I’m also accepting reality, unlike my brother. I just want what’s best for her. We’ll know more later after the MRI is done.
